The NBA announced the All-Defensive teams for the 2006-07 season on Monday, and Jason Kidd was on the list for the fourth straight year. Kidd was named to the Second Team, having received eight First Team votes and seven Second Team votes from the league's coaches. It is Kidd's ninth selection overall. He has been named to the First Team four times and to the Second Team five times. Richard Jefferson received a Second Team vote.
