Kidd and Carter Answer Questions in Easy Game 3 Win

How is Jason Kidd's knee? Not bad. He put up 16 points, 16 rebounds and 19 assists. Can Vince Carter take better shots? Sure. He was relentless in his attack of the rim to the tune of 37 points on 15-of-23 from the field. The All-Star backcourt led the way as the Nets controlled Game 3 from start to finish Friday night at the Meadowlands. They started the game on a 9-0 run, led by 12 after one and by as many as 21 late in the second quarter. Toronto got to within eight early in the fourth quarter, but Kidd and Carter answered with a 7-0 run and the lead was never less than 11 after that. The Nets shot 53% from the floor from the game and assisted on 31 of their 41 field goals. T.J. Ford scored 27 for the Raptors, but Jason Collins kept Chris Bosh limited to just 11 points on 3-of-10 from the floor.
