Bill Cartwright, who grew up in Sacramento and played for the University of San Francisco, could be a candidate for the vacant Kings coaching job, reports Sam Smith of the Chicago Tribune. Cartwright, now in his third year as a Nets assistant, last coached the Chicago Bulls where he had a 51-100 record. Cartwright won five rings as a Bull, three as a player, two as an assistant coach.
