Carter: 'My Goal is to Have a Great Playoff and Put the Pressure on Them'

In an interview with WFAN's Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts Friday, Vince Carter said he plans to stay in New Jersey. "My goal is to have a great playoff and put the pressure on them," referring to Nets. "I am going to do my job and hopefully they keep me here." Carter is believed to want a $60 million extension. The Nets reportedly want to pay $10 to $15 million less. Carter dismissed Raptor fans' treatment of him as "a lot of fun" and "Maybe someday, the fans will understand how it all went down".
