It was a tale of two halves in Cleveland Thursday night. Well, at least for the home team. After an ugly first half in which the teams combined for just 68 points, Cleveland shot 14-for-17 on their way to a 36-point third quarter, taking complete control of the game. LeBron James scored 15 of his game-high 35 points in the third. Meanwhile, the only Net who had anything going offensively was Vince Carter, who 26 points on 10-of-18 from the floor. Richard Jefferson not only struggled guarding James, he scored just five points himself on 2-of-13 shooting. The loss means that this will be the first season since Jason Kidd came to New Jersey that the Nets will not have a winning record.
