The Race to Retirement

Cliff Robinson may not be with the Nets next season, but he plans to play anyway and now he has two incentives. Darrell Armstrong, 38, has told Robinson he intends to play as long as the Nets' 40-year-old forward. Could be a while, says his coach, Rick Carlisle: "Cliff is planning to play four or five more years." Meanwhile, the Mavs are expected to sign 44-year-old Kevin Willis Saturday. "If Kevin Willis comes back, I'm definitely getting 20 years", said Robinson, the 18-year vet.
