The season may be on life support, but it's still breathing and the Nets were able to do enough to beat the worst team in the league Monday night. Mikki Moore scored a career-high 24 points, Vince Carter led all scorers with 30 and Richard Jefferson played his best game since returning from injury. RJ kept the Nets in the game early by getting to the line often in the first quarter and scoring seven of his 16 points in the opening period. The Nets later used a big third quarter to take control of the game, leading by as many as 18 and no less than eight in the fourth.
