The Nets had opened the game on an 11-3 run and Jason Kidd had scored 19 points in the third quarter, but they were still down 86-85 with a little over nine minutes to go in the fourth. A 13-3 run fueled by Boki Nachbar gave them control of the game for good though, and they picked up their third straight victory Tuesday night at the Meadowlands. The Nets set a franchise record with 16 threes on 32 attempts, led by Kidd, who hit 6-of-9. He finished with 26 points, eight boards and nine assists, while Vince Carter led all scorers with 27 and Nachbar came off the bench for 23 points and six boards.
