Have the Nets finally put all of their issues behind them now that the trade deadline has passed? Time will tell, but on Friday night, they played like they were supposed to, getting it done on both ends of the floor to get an easy win over the Kings at the Meadowlands. The Nets led by eight after an ugly first quarter and opened things up by hitting 16 of their 24 shots in the second to take an 18-point lead into the half. They led by as many as 27 midway through the third, and while the Kings made a run to close within eight in the final minutes, that would be as close as they got. Jason Kidd recorded his ninth triple-double of the season, Vince Carter led the Nets with 26 points, and Eddie House and Marcus Williams combined for 39 off the bench.
