"At the end of the day, I believe he'll be in a Nets uniform tomorrow," Jeff Schwartz told Chad Ford Thursday morning. Schwartz said that Kidd has never said that he didn't want to be a Net and that he doesn't believe that the Nets' ship is sinking. The idea of being a Laker is intriguing to Kidd, but leaving New Jersey would not be easy. Ford believes the Lakers are making a mistake by not giving the Nets what they want (Andrew Bynum) for a chance at a title. Peter Vecsey also says no trades.
