When Mikki Moore showed up at the University of Nebraska in 1993, he was as tall as he is now, at 7'-0". But he weighed a mere 160 pounds. His college coach, now retired, thought he looked like a "praying mantis". Other Cornhuskers remember him the same way Net fans see him now: as a high-energy, force of nature. The road from Lincoln to East Rutherford had a lot of stops in between, however, but Moore doesn't regret any of them.
