The New York Times is reporting that the Nets are serious about moving Jason Kidd before Thursday's deadline, with Los Angeles being his most likely destination. As of Monday, however, Rod Thorn wasn't satisfied with the Laker offer. Beyond the team's poor record and Kidd's high salary, the Times reports Bruce Ratner is troubled by revelations in divorce filings by Kidd's wife Joumana. Meanwhile, Kidd denied lobbying for a trade, saying he wants to stay put.
