Carter Scores 7 as West Tramples East

Vince Carter played sparingly and wound up with only seven points but put down one trademark slam as the West beat the East, 153-132 in Las Vegas. Carter, selected by the coaches after Gilbert Arenas beat him out for a starting job, played 16 minutes. Kobe Bryant was MVP and high scorer with 31 points. Lebron James led the East with 28.
