Everyone remembers it: the 2000 Dunk Contest when Vince Carter electrified the crowd in Oakland on All-Star Weekend with a series of spectacular dunks at age 23. For Carter, it was the year of the dunk. Later that year, he had what is generally considered the greatest in-game dunk of all-time, the Olympic slam over France's Frederic Weis. Carter still dunks, but not in competition. That doesn't mean he has stopped appreciating the fine art.
