Rod Thorn is inscrutable, as he usually is before the trade deadline. Yes, he is talking to other teams, listening as well. No, nothing is imminent. But bottom line, he'll have to be "blown away" by another team's offer if he is to trade Jason Kidd or Vince Carter. The Daily News, following up on New York Post reports of a Kidd trade to LA, notes that Kidd's name coming up in trade talks "doesn’t mean anything is imminent". Mike Kahn of FOX thinks Thorn must move fast but Al Iannazzone of YES says not that fast.
