A couple of bad games and you get demoted. That's the message from this week's rookie rankings. Sean Williams dropped from #5 to #7 on NBA.com. Dave McMenamin worries that if Jason Kidd is traded, Williams will have lost his chief supporter. He's still #5 on ESPN's list, but David Thorpe thinks "his energy on defense is down a bit". Williams is still one of the NBA's top shot blockers, regularly making the Block of the Night, and NBA.com thinks he might be a good candidate for the dunk contest.
