The cross river rivalry begins anew Wednesday as the Nets finish up their four games in five days stretch. The Nets go into the game with a .500 record while the Knicks are even more disappointing at 5-11, although they've won three of their last five. Vince Carter (achilles) and Boki Nachbar (ankle) are expected to play, while Antoine Wright (shoulder) will be a game-time decision again. For the Knicks, Stephon Marbury's status is uncertain and Eddy Curry, who turned an ankle at shootaround Wednesday morning, will probably sit out.
