Kiki Vandeweghe will join the Nets' front office, replacing Ed Stefanski. But Vandeweghe won't have the general manager title...yet. The appointment is on an interim basis although it could become permanent and there are even suggestions he could replace Rod Thorn. Officially, he is "Special Assistant to the President". His responsibilities, said Thorn, include "preparing for the 2008 NBA Draft" and "evaluation of current and future player personnel". Vandeweghe was last GM in Denver.
