Vince Carter has been playing well lately, in spite of ankle problems...and he is averaging 21.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 4.5 apg, a little less than he did last year. The problem is that the Nets are 11-15 and trying to find something to get them back in contention. Marc Stein quotes the "GM grapevine" as saying the Nets would rather move Carter than Jefferson or Kidd, but his new contract makes it difficult.
