Stay the course, keep plugging, be tough...and forget any trades, at least for now. That was the mantra Monday as the Nets prepared to host the Clippers. LA is without Elton Brand, but Chris Kaman is making a play for Most Improved Player in his absence. The seven-footer is averaging 18.5 ppg, 13.7 rpg and 3.0 bpg. Still, the Clippers are only 7-12 and have won only twice in their last 10. Meanwhile, John Hollinger says the only team worse than the Nets right now plays across the river.
