Nets Come Back From 20 Down to Beat Wizards

The first half at the IZOD Center Thursday night looked a lot like last week's game against Toronto, with the Nets down 20 midway through the second quarter. But this time, they battled all the way back and Richard Jefferson gave them the win over the Wizards with two free throws with 24 seconds to go in the game. On the following possession, Gilbert Arenas let the clock wind all the way down and Antoine Wright and Vince Carter forced him to take an off-balance shot from the corner that missed badly. RJ led all scorers once again with 25 points, including 8 of the Nets' last 10. Carter added 24 and Boki Nachbar and Jamaal Magloire gave the Nets a big lift off the bench with 14 points and 12 boards respectively. The Nets had the NBA's assist (Nachbar), dunk (Wright) and steal (Carter) of the night.
