Raptors Blow Out Nets

The good news is that nobody got hurt. The bad news? Well, there was plenty of it. The Raptors came into IZOD Center Friday night and beat the Nets by 37 points. The Nets shot just 36% from the field and Richard Jefferson (27 points) was the only Net to score in double figures. Meanwhile, Toronto shot 51% and had six players with 10 or more points. The Nets actually had a seven-point lead 8 1/2 minutes into the game, but the Raptors tied it by the end of the first quarter and they started the second on a 17-2 run, beginning the rout.
