Herb Turetzky, the only official scorer the Nets have ever had, will be honored Tuesday during a ceremony prior to the Nets-Hawks game at the IZOD Center. It will be Turetzky's 1,000th consecutive game at the scorers table. He has scored more than 1,600 ABA and NBA games, going back 40 years. "Herb has achieved a memorable milestone," said Rod Thorn. "He is an NBA institution."
