Streak Hits Six as Jazz Clobber Nets

The offense was bad again, of course. And the defense was terrible too Monday night in Salt Lake City as the Nets' losing streak reached six games with a 27-point defeat at the hands of the Jazz. The Nets shot just 35 percent from the field and were outscored 62-34 in the first and third quarters combined. Richard Jefferson led the Nets with 22 points on 7-of-13 from the floor, but Jason Kidd finished with just two points, two rebounds and eight assists, while turning the ball over six times and shooting 1-for-9 in 28 minutes.
