John Hollinger, writing for ESPN, admits surprise that Richard Jefferson's ankle is actually okay and calls him one of the season's early surprises. He also puts Vince Carter and Nenad Krstic among the biggest disappointments, saying the Nets better hope Carter's early woes are due to his sore thumb. Hollinger also misquotes Krstic as saying his knee is only "80 per cent". Krstic actually referred to his overall performance, not his knee which he has said is fine.
