The Nets announced Friday morning that they have signed guard Darrell Armstrong. "We are pleased to add Darrell to our roster," Rod Thorn said in the press release. "He is a proven NBA veteran who has the potential to add depth to our backcourt." This will be Armstrong's 14th season in the league. He was Most Improved Player and Sixth Man Award winner in 1998-99. Last season, he averaged 5.6 points and 2.4 assists in 15.7 minutes per game with the Pacers.
