Uncle Cliffy Calls It a Day

Cliff Robinson wasn't in an NBA camp Tuesday, the first time since 1989 and Dave D'Alessandro reports he won't be again. After playing for 18 seasons and parts of four decades, Robinson has decided to retire. Uncle Cliffy played his last three seasons with the Nets. He averaged 14.2 ppg and 4.6 rpg in 1,380 games, seventh all-time. He also played in 141 playoff games, reaching the post-season all but one year. He was cut by the Nets in July, receiving a $500,000 buyout.
