The national magazines and websites have had their say about the Nets. Now it's the local writers' turn, from New York to San Francisco. With few exceptions, these writers think the Nets are at best second in the Atlantic, exiting in the second round. That includes the Star-Ledger's Dave D'Alessandro, the Post's Fred Kerber and the Daily News' Mitch Lawrence. Peter Vecsey is the one exception, saying the Nets "can beat you on the break, beat you in half court, can beat you up." And the Sez is giddy over the return of the captain.
