The Nets have until next Wednesday to make a decision on whether to offer Nenad Krstic a long term contract or risk having him a restricted free agent at season's end. The complication, of course, is his the stability of his knee after ACL surgery. So far, Krstic looks fine, but both sides say there is no rush. However, if the Nets decided to extend the 24 year old seven-footer, his new deal could start at $7 million.
