The Nets remain uncertain about whether Jason Kidd will play tonight against Philly in the next-to-last preseason game, but his progress is such that he will play either Thursday or Friday vs. the Knicks. Kidd played a full 40 minute scrimmage Wednesday and although he looked rusty at the end, he reported no pain in his back. The game, which will not be broadcast on YES, is the last preseason home game. The Nets are 3-1 in preseason.
