Hollinger: Kidd Ranks 56th, Nets No Longer Contenders

New, comments

ESPN's John Hollinger is nothing if not consistent. After ranking Jason Kidd #34 in his annual PER (Player Efficiency Ratings) last season, he has dropped the Nets' captain 22 places after his near triple-double season. At #56, Kidd is right behind Utah's Paul Millsap. He also puts Carter at #29; Krstic at #74; Jefferson at #118; Boone at #148; Nachbar at #214; Marcus Williams at #216; Magloire at #266; and Collins at #328, dead last in the NBA. And for good measure, Hollinger writes in the Sun that the Nets are doomed to mediocrity.
