Nets Deal McInnis for Robinson

The Nets announced Wednesday that they have acquired Bernard Robinson from Charlotte in exchange for Jeff McInnis and "cash considerations." Robinson has appeared in 21 games for the Bobcats. "Bernard can play both guard and forward, is a good defender and will add athleticism and depth off our bench," said Rod Thorn, Net President. Robinson, 26, is being paid $1 million this season. McInnis said the Nets decision not to play him was a "personal (thing) with Lawrence Frank".
