Barclays Thought Yormark Was Calling About Tickets

When Gerard LaRocca, chief administrative officer for Barclays Bank, got a call last year from Brett Yormark's office, he thought the team wanted to sell him season tickets. Reluctantly, he agreed to meet the Nets CEO, who had bigger plans. Sports Business Journal reports the $400 million deal has been done since December, but kept quiet. It may include Net-branded credit cards as well as ads for Barclays during Nets games.
