In answering a reader's question about whether the Bulls should look to deal for Carter, Smith declares that Carter is afraid to attack the basket because he doesn't like contact and that "he could never help [the Nets] get anywhere." Smith also says that Jason Kidd's dislike for Scott Skiles would probably prevent any Chicago deal for the point guard.
