The Detroit News reports Wednesday that the Nets and Sonics have "expressed interest" in acquiring veteran power forward Dale Davis from the Pistons. Davis, who turns 38 in March, is averaging 2.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 12 minutes of action this season. In two games vs. the Nets, Davis averaged 3 and 8 in 20 minutes of action. He is in the last year of his contract, earning $3.5 million. Davis became available after Detroit signed Chris Webber.
