The Nets got one of their easiest victories of the season Monday afternoon at the Meadowlands, jumping ahead of the Pacers early on and not letting up until they were up by more than 20 points early in the fourth quarter. The Nets made 15 of their 23 shots in the first and built a 21-point lead by halftime. They led by as many as 27 late in the third and were on cruise control from there on out. The 10-point margin of victory was their smallest lead since late in the first. Vince Carter led all scorers with 31 points, adding six boards and six assists. Jason Kidd finished one rebound shy of another triple-double (in just 32 minutes of action), Mikki Moore pitched in 19 points and seven boards and Marcus Williams provided a lift off the bench in his first game back from strep throat.
