It's not just that the team's two best players are going through divorces--one very public, one very private, or that four players have had surgery--one season-ending, or there have been other nagging injuries, illnesses, inconsistency and defensive incompetence. It's far weirder than that, with one player believing the wife of the team captain was having him tailed and spreading rumors about him. In all, it's kind of amazing things aren't worse!
