The Nets controlled the game through the first 36 minutes Saturday night at the Target Center and led by five after the third period. Two minutes into the fourth, the lead was four, but then the Timberwolves went on a 14-2 run to grab the game out of the Nets' hands, and they cruised to an 11-point win from there. Minnesota scored 37 points in the fourth, including 12 from Kevin Garnett, who finished with 32 points and 14 boards. Jason Kidd recorded 24 points, 13 assists, six boards and six steals for the Nets.
