Kidd, Carter, Adams Star in Nets Yankee Stadium

Gary Sussman reports the Nets' annual Coaches-Players softball game ended in dramatic fashion Monday at Yankee Stadium with an 8-7 win by the players. With two out in the bottom of the ninth and the score tied, Jason Kidd tripled and Vince Carter singled him home. Hassan Adams hit a home run early and Kidd got kudoes for a lunging stab at short. Mile Ilic and Nenad Krstic formed the tallest outfield in Stadium history. The game is the brainchild of Lawrence Frank to help team chemistry.
