Zoran Planinic will leave the Nets for Tau Ceramica, the Spanish Euroleague power, say media reports out of Croatia, Israel, Spain and now New Jersey. Planinic called the deal "99% finished". An official announcement is expected in days. He rejected a lesser bid from Maccabi Tel Aviv on Friday. Planinic will be bought out by the Nets at less than half his $1.8 million salary. The move should open a roster spot for Mile Ilic, who shares an agent with Planinic. Planinic and Ilic could both commit to their new teams this week.
