Nets Scout in Africa

Rob Meurs is one of the Nets lesser known executives, but one of the most successful. Meurs is the director of international scouting. While with the Spurs, he recommended San Antonio take Manu Ginobili at #57 in 1999 and Tony Parker at #28 in 2001. Now, he works for the Nets. One area where Meurs has been particularly expert in is Africa, even coaching the Mali National Team. Meurs is in Nigeria this week working as a camp coach and checking out the best basketball talent in west Africa.
