The Nets pioneering Ticket Influencer program is closing in a goal: $2.5 million in new revenue, says Sports Business Journal. By the start of the season, the Nets will have hosted 50 events, the most recent featuring Vince Carter, Josh Boone and Mikki Moore. So popular has the program been that teams throughout the NBA and now other sports are copying it. Meanwhile, the Nets are in the forefront of selling $199 season tickets, the bargain-basement price being bait for bigger purchases later.
