Mile Ilic may get a chance to sign his Nets contract earlier than expected. His Serbian national team lost for the second time Sunday, 65-61, to France. Again, Ilic didn't play. If Serbia doesn't finish in the top four of its six-team group, it will be out of the Worlds this week. Bostjan Nachbar's Slovenian team lost, 80-76, to Italy. Nachbar had 8 points and 4 rebounds in 15 minutes. Slovenia plays Team USA Tuesday morning. The game will be televised live on ESPN2 at 6:30 a.m. and again on NBA TV Wednesday.
