Neither Slovenia's Bostjan Nachbar nor Serbia's Mile Ilic is expected to start for their national teams at the FIBA world championships this weekend. However, both of the Nets' national teams are expected to do well in Japan. Team USA, Spain, Argentina and France remain the favorites. The two teams face lightly regarded African nations Saturday. Ilic was officially named to the Serbs' 12-man roster Friday, surviving the final cut. Rod Thorn, a former USA Basketball president, will also be on hand.
