Cliff Robinson's drug suspension cost him more than originally believed, reports Dave D'Alessandro of the Star-Ledger. Instead of signing a new deal for $1.6 million, as had been previously reported, Robinson had to be satisfied with a $1.18 million vets' minimum deal. The Nets did extend his deal for a second year, but hold a team option. The league will pay nearly half the salary under the collective bargaining agreement. Eddie House will take his Nets physical Wednesday.
