Jeff McInnis is under contract with the Nets for next season, but neither he nor the Nets are under any illusion about where he fits in the team's plans: nowhere. Signed to a two year, $7 million a year ago, McInnis fell out of favor, then got injured. While the Nets are trying to trade what remains of his contract, the more likely scenario is a buyout, but the two sides are far apart on how much the 32 year old point guard should get.
