It's the latest look at how the Nets and the three other former ABA franchises are not getting their due when it comes to the NBA's TV contract. Every month, the Nets, Pacers, Spurs and Nuggets get reduced TV checks because of an agreement made 30 years ago with the owners of the Spirits of St. Louis, a short-lived ABA franchise. The agreement requires the four teams to provide the Spirits' owners with part of their TV money...for nothing. And there's nothing anyone can do about it.
