The Nets announced on Thursday that they have traded a second round pick in 2009 to Seattle for seven-footer Mikki Moore. Moore played 47 games for the Sonics in '05-06, averaging 3.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.4 minutes. It's Moore's second go-around with the Nets, scoring two points in four games in 2003-04. Ed Stefanski said the Nets continue to pursue Mile Ilic but the acquisition of Moore lessens the chances he will be signed. The team's next priority: a shooting swingman.
