Wearing No. 1 and playing like it, Marcus Williams led the Nets to their first summer league win, beating the Magic, 86-82 in the Pepsi Pro Summer League. Williams' court vision, pinpoint passing and clutch shooting all turned heads in Orlando. He finished with 24 points and 12 assists while hitting a go-ahead three in the final minute to give the Nets the lead for good. Antoine Wright and 6'-9" Wake Forest power forward Eric Williams finished with 12 each while Josh Boone led all rebounders with 9.
