Only four wins stand between him and a championship ring, yet Alonzo Mourning still can find the time to trash the Nets management that gave him a $22 million contract when he had only one functioning kidney. In an interview following the Heat's victory over the Pistons, Mourning reiterated that he didn't see a commitment to winning in the Nets ownership when he asked out of New Jersey in 2004. Mourning however did not repeat his claim that the Nets tried to kill him by overplaying him.
